KAVU Synthetic Strapcap

The Strapcap could be seen as KAVU’s most defining product. It was designed and created by founder Barry Barr in the early 90s. A direct response to Barry constantly losing caps whilst at sea. The light bulb moment came by using the webbing from a Teva sandal to create a durable canvas cap with a webbing strap around the rim, this resulted in a cap which stayed on your head even in balmy conditions. Still produced in the USA this lightweight nylon version is the ultimate outdoor cap.
