The Meteorite Surf Series binding is designed for all-mountain riders who want a stable and comfortable binding with a more predictable and rider-friendly flex. Perfect for the latest generation of surf-inspired snowboards, its SKATETECH technology transfers energy directly to the edges, ensuring that even though the Meteorite Surf Series isn’t aggressive, it still delivers exceptional performance through the turn. That turning performance is further enhanced by adding a 3° canted footbed and the Flip-It Power Spine Ankle strap, allowing you to take full advantage of the carving potential of surf-style boards. The Meteorite Surf Series’s all-around performance is carried through to the Dynamic Flex highback. Stiff in the centre for solid support and softer on the sides for easier manoeuvrability, it once again contributes to the binding’s uncanny ability to merge outstanding performance with a surfier and more compliant ride, creating a stunning binding for the everyday rider.

TECHNOLOGY

Skate Tech

The components of the SkateTech design mimic the function of a skateboard truck. The “Hanger” acts as a lever that transfers energy input from the straps to the “Bushings” and onto the board edges. The “Kingpin” is the fulcrum for the “Hanger” and magnifies the energy transfer through leverage. Traditional bindings lose energy when the baseplate flexes and bends unevenly. The energy loss forces you to crank your straps tighter and ride with more forward lean to gain the

same control. Uneven pressure and tight straps lead to more foot fatigue and pain. By evenly pivoting over the “Post”, the middle of your board flexes more uniformly, and your energy inputs are focused directly on your edge. Your feet stay more relaxed and more comfortable because the bindings transfer power to the board with less work.

Hanger 2.0

The 30% Glass Hanger 2.0 offers a widened heel cup footprint when compared to the original Hanger 1.0. to improve boot-fitting compatibility. The drop-down medial wall adds lateral flexibility, while snow clearing channels prevent ice build-up underneath the highback legs.

Comfort Foam Foot Pillow

Full-length EVA foam footbed that maximises binding comfort while minimising foot fatigue. The 3D moulded footbed surface offers supreme traction for any boot tread pattern and prevents snow build-up.

Freeride Mode Vs Surf Mode

Jones bindings offer customisable dampening and response by switching between Surf Mode

and Freeride Mode. Surf Mode lets you tweak harder, while Freeride Mode keeps you locked in

for maximum response. Switch modes by changing the bushings from soft (Surf Mode) to hard

(Freeride Mode) and adjusting the Flip-It ankle straps. The Flip-It strap allows you to interchange

the ankle straps between the left and right binding to create a custom response. Ride with the

ankle straps in Freeride mode for more lateral support and board response, or flip the straps

into Surf Mode for solid heel support but more ankle flexibility for getting loose.

Power Spine Flex Strap

Two-part moulded ankle strap with a wider bottom section for flexible comfort and a stiffer centre spine for an unmatched response. Flip-It Strap compatible (Surf mode vs Freeride mode).

3D Flex 2.0 Toe Straps

3D Flex-Fit 2.0 toe straps dynamically stretch to fit any shape boot. The new minimalist design is even lower profile and every bit as comfortable, durable and responsive as the original design.

Asym buckles

Bombproof buckles made from aircraft-grade alloy featuring ultra-strong levers and springs. Triple-action ratchet design increase the speed of entry and release.

4×4, 2×4, EST/Channel disc

All Jones bindings include a mounting disc compatible with traditional 4×4 inserts, 2×4, and EST/Channel mounting system.
