Shape Overview

The Super D.O.A is built around an advanced blunt diamond tip and tail twin shape with a mid radius sidecut. This innovative design creates a balanced overall feel while still delivering all the stability and all-terrain versatility that you need for all-mountain riding.

Profile

The Super D.O.A delivers high performance across various disciplines, so it utilises the versatile RESORT V1 Profile. This innovative camber takes full advantage of all the benefits of traditional camber, zero camber and reverse camber to deliver the optimum performance regardless of terrain or conditions. By combining these three separate profiles, you get the pop and response of a cambered board with all the predictability and easy turn initiation of zero camber and the lift and float of reverse camber, ensuring that no matter what or where you ride, the D.O.A is always going to perform.

Construction

When it comes to construction, Super D.O.A steps it up several notches compared the standard D.O.A. Heading up these changes is the new F.S.C. Certified 3D Thermopolymer Super Core. This extremely lightweight and versatile three-dimensionally profiled core combines poplar paulownia and beech with recycled thermopolymer inlaid channels, to deliver a lightweight core with high impact resistance and maximum pop. To step up that power transfer another notch and add more drive through the length, Capita then adds their 50mm SuperCarbon strips running either side of the insert packs running through the length of the board. This additional layer increases pop through the length helping create the Super D.O.A’s game-changing pop. Performance-wise probably the most significant difference between the Super D.O.A and the standard board is the addition of Holysheettri-ax glass structural layers. These specially developed layers have a higher glass-to-weight ratio than normal fibreglass and step up the torsional flex to give the Super D.O.A its dynamic and responsive ride. Finally, to provide the SuperD.O.A with bombproof durability, it features the Fortress™ Kevlar Bound Sidewalls. These Kevlar inserts run the length of the effective edge and help resist sidewall damage in the park as well as absorbing unwanted vibrations.

Base

The exclusive HYPERDRIVE base has exceptional anti-friction properties due to its high molecular mass and advanced formula. This sintered material has a Custom Carbon component and is one of the hardest and fastest base materials available.
