Built around Bent Metal’s advanced Unibody chassis and Mervin manufactured interchangeable Boron Fibre Drive Plate, the Bolt ensures a perfect balance of response, control and predictable feel. The mid-flexing Performance Polymer Highback compliments the more rider-friendly feel of the baseplate to ensure that the Bolt delivers the ideal balance of freestyle focussed feel and all-terrain versatility. BENT METAL JOINT TECHNOLOGY

Uni-Body Chassis:

The one-piece polymer Uni-Body chassis has been designed to deliver the perfect balance of rider-friendly feel, response, and control. Its excellent shock-absorbing characteristics help reduce foot pain and ensure the perfect balance of performance and all-day riding comfort. Toe/Heel centring is achieved via the mounting disk.

Boron Flex Control Drive Plate:

Bent Metals advanced Flex Control Drive Plates allow the designers to create the optimum performance for every binding in the range. This unique design laminates the footbed similarly to how you lay up a snowboard. By utilising multiple layers, Bent Metal can not only control how much dampening the footbed delivers, but they can also precisely control the binding flex. The Boron Fiber, Poly Core, Bi-ax glass and Eco-Sublimated top sheet material in the Flex’s Control Plate create a medium soft flex pattern for a broad range of conditions.

Mobility Ankle Strap:

This Lightweight 3D TPU strap provides the ideal balance of all-day riding comfort, smooth, progressive delivery of power and predictable feel and control. Ideal for riders who want a more forgiving overall ride.

Light Form Toe Strap

The low-profile design forms perfectly over the front of the boot for maximum fit and featherweight.

Nylon Asymmetric Highback:

The Bolt’s slightly cupped and slightly asymmetric shape compensates for the increased rigidity of the medium stiffness highback material to give a smoother and more compliant ride without compromising performance. Highback adjustment is achieved via The Cube adjustor and allows for four preset angles 10°, 14°, 18°, and 22°.

Forged Aluminium Buckles

Hardened for ultimate strength. Lightweight with smooth entry and exit.

Large Axis Disk
