The Transfer BMBW x Lib is aimed at riders looking for a responsive and dynamic high-performance binding that can kill it over the whole mountain. Built around Bent Metal’s fully adjustable Two-Piece baseplate, the Transfer BMBW x Lib opts for the responsive Magnesium Fibre Drive Plate. This rigid Drive Plate steps up the response of the binding, giving a direct transfer of power and energy straight to the board by reducing distortion and flex from the baseplate. That power transfer is further enhanced with the addition of the responsive Dual-Band Ankle Strap and Performance Polymer Highback. The rigid yet comfortable ankle strap works in harmony with the rigid baseplate to ensure no energy is wasted; everything you put into the binding goes straight to the board. That unrestricted flow of energy is the same on the heelside edge; the asymmetric shape of the highback picks up on the slightest movement giving a dynamic feel on the heelside edge and balancing out the Transfer BMBW x Lib performance on toeside and heelside turns.

BENT METAL TRANSFER TECHNOLOGY
Two-Piece Chassis:
The Two-Piece chassis combines a Polymer baseplate with a fully adjustable Aluminum heel cup. This combination delivers a more precise and responsive ride than the Uni-Body baseplate. Toe and heel centring are achieved via the adjustment in the heel loop. Mounting is made via the reduced size Pivot disk, which allows the binding to flex more naturally, helping the Drive plate work more efficiently.
Magnesium Fibre Flex Control Drive Plate:
Bent Metals advanced Flex Control Drive Plates allow the designers to create the optimum performance for every binding in the range. This unique design laminates the footbed similarly to how you lay up a snowboard. By utilising multiple layers, Bent Metal can not only control how much dampening the footbed delivers, but they can also precisely control the binding flex. The Magnesium Fibre, UHMW Core and Eco-Sublimated top sheet material create a medium flex Drive Plate, which gives excellent performance and control across a broad range of conditions and terrain.
Power Ankle Strap:
The unique Dual Band ankle strap design uses a firm central “Power Band” to transmit rider input to the board. At the same time, a larger and softer “Flex Band” enables the boot to articulate for a more extensive range of expression and increased comfort. The overlapping materials create transition zones and fuse to form a uniquely tuned response and comfort level not achieved in a single material strap. Two bands with different Flex and Power properties fuse for maximum comfort and tuned response. Individually shaped Power Bands tune response to excel during different riding conditions and styles
Performance Polymer Highback:
The Transfer BMBW x Lib’s slightly cupped and slightly asymmetric shape compensates for the increased rigidity of the medium-firm stiffness highback material to give a smoother and more compliant ride without compromising performance. Manufactured from rigid Nylon/Polymer, the highback comes in at a 7.5 for stiffness. Highback adjustment is achieved via The Cube adjustor and allows for four preset angles 10°, 14°, 18°, and 22°.
Forged Aluminium Buckles
Hardened for ultimate strength. Lightweight with smooth entry and exit.
Small Axis Disk
Compatible with 2 x 4, 4 x 4 and Channel mounting systems. Reduced size increases board flex and drive plate power.
