If you’re in the market for a versatile board that combines ride anything versatility and class-leading performance but at a price that won’t break the bank, then the Amplid Ticket might be the perfect board for you. Aimed squarely at anyone looking for one board that can handle everything on the hill, this stunning snowboard delivers a level of performance wherever you ride it that embarrasses plenty of boards costing a lot more. Built around a versatile directional twin shape that features Amplid’s innovative all-terrain tips, the Ticket has the ideal combination of freeride feel and a more playful freestyle personality. So, no matter if you’re charging around on the piste, hitting up the pow after it’s dumped or even lapping the park with your mates, this board won’t ever feel like it won’t cope. Internally the Ticket’s feature-packed construction belies its price and helps deliver the class-leading performance that has made it the go-to board for knowledgable riders on a tighter budget.
Rider Style:
All-terrain riders looking for outstanding performance over the whole mountain without sacrificing freestyle feel and balance.
Shape: Directional Twin
The Tickets ride anything directional twin shape features 10mm of extra nose. This slightly longer nose shape, with its fuller tip outline and smooth kick radius, ensures that snow flows effortlessly under the front of the board. This innovative shape gives effortless lift at the front end, ensuring that the Ticket can still kill it when it dumps. Now even though you’ve got that extra length, thanks to the blunt profile, you still get a low swing weight. The low swing weight means you’re not going to sacrifice any of the board’s park performance to get that all-terrain versatility.
Profile: Directional Cruise Camber
Cruise Camber features a more mellow camber under the feet to deliver a smooth yet responsive feel under the feet. Powering up the edge length without feeling overly aggressive, it’s perfect for anyone who wants excellent performance with minimal effort. Early rise in the nose helps increase buoyancy at the front of the board, helping to deliver the Ticket’s effortless powder performance.
Construction:
The Tickets superlight wood core is the industry standard for lightweight, durable and versatile performance. Amplid has tweaked this core multiple times over the years, so there’s nothing left to improve. To add additional strength to the core and help reduce core compression at the binding edges, Amplid inserts tough, pre-cured composite impact plates placed beneath the bindings. These significantly reduce the risk of top sheet dings and breakages. Using Biaxial Glass structural layers ensures the Ticket delivers a flawless blend of response and playfulness whilst keeping the weight right down.
Base: Extruded 4 Base
Amplid’s mind-boggling extruded base material offers next-level glide properties and rarely needs
waxing. It feels like a sintered base without the effort of maintaining it.
